Public Relations & Communications Manager - Onsite

This position is responsible for managing all operational activities and initiatives related to Public Relations and Communications. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead public relation programs and serve as the main contact for public relations communications.
  • Develop and implement strategies to evaluate and improve Public Relations efforts.
  • Coordinate daily requests for Public Relations, including preparing subject matter experts for interviews.
  • Develop publicity strategies, including crisis management plans.
  • Create and manage PR plans, budgets, and timelines.
  • Collaborate with social media teams to create content calendars.
  • Represent the organization at press conferences and interviews.
  • Manage media commitments and disseminate information across platforms.
  • Coordinate with Marketing to enhance brand image and increase revenue.
  • Arrange photography and press coverage for events.
  • Conduct market data analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and business growth areas.
  • Manage external communication channels, including press releases and industry publications.

Communication and Marketing Duties

  • Develop and execute marketing communication strategies, including advertising and branding.
  • Prepare and distribute promotional content such as press releases, articles, blogs, and social media posts.
  • Oversee creation of digital and print promotional materials ensuring a unified brand image.
  • Support internal communications and explore new channels for outreach.
  • Monitor information systems to optimize team productivity.
  • Maintain excellent communication with all Directors and Supervisors.
  • Ensure departmental policies and budgets are adhered to.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Promote safety, quality, and productivity standards.
  • Coordinate training and development of team members.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal control standards.
  • Represent the organization positively to guests and vendors.
  • Follow safety policies and attend scheduled safety meetings.
  • Make fair and honest decisions and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Supervisory Responsibilities: Manage all employees of the Marketing Department, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and discipline.

Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED; minimum 5 years supervisory/management experience.

Certifications & Licenses: Must pass drug screens, background checks, obtain Tribal Gaming License, and other relevant certifications. Provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. within 72 hours of employment.

Physical & Work Environment

Requires talking, hearing, standing, walking, sitting, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. Work may be in multiple locations, including gaming facilities, some of which are not smoke-free. Must be flexible to work various hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and be available for emergencies.

The work environment includes surveillance monitoring and may involve exposure to loud noise and low light conditions.
