Description:
The NASA Postdoctoral Program (NPP) offers research opportunities for scientists to engage in NASA projects at NASA Centers, Headquarters, or affiliated institutes. Fellowships last 1-3 years and focus on space science, Earth science, aeronautics, space operations, exploration, and astrobiology.
Research Focus:
Using GPS radio occultation (RO) observations, which provide high vertical resolution, all-weather remote sensing, and coverage of diurnal cycles, to study atmospheric properties and climate variability. Topics include tropopause trends, planetary boundary layer climatology, and water vapor diurnal variability.
