Job Summary

The English Department in the College of Arts & Sciences invites applications for part-time single term instructors to teach in our First-Year Writing Program. This posting is to establish a pool of candidates from which to select part-time instructors as needed, semester by semester. Service as a part-time instructor does not accrue tenure rights. Instructors are engaged to teach at the university's convenience, with responsibilities not exceeding nine credit hours per semester and no additional duties akin to full-time faculty.

Minimum Qualifications

• M.A. or M.F.A. in English (exceptions may be considered with relevant professional experience);
• At least two years of post-M.A. college-level composition teaching experience.
