Overview

Reports to the AccessMore Lead Producer, the Associate Producer is responsible for supporting the development, production, and delivery of podcast episodes across the AccessMore network. This role ensures smooth workflows between A&R, production, and post-production teams while contributing logistically and creatively to the success of each show.

  • Participate in Ministry-wide initiatives like Gratitude Fest, Daily Prayer, All Team Meetings, Celebrations, and Service Projects, fostering our culture and community.
  • Support and contribute to Ministry endeavors by following employment policies, maintaining safety standards, and participating in safety training.
  • Assist in planning and executing podcast recordings, manage production calendars, and coordinate talent bookings.
  • Contribute to episode research, scripting, and interview prep; help shape narratives and segments.
  • Incorporate editorial feedback, support during tapings, and coordinate file delivery.
  • Review audio quality, ensure deadlines, and assist with content uploads and management systems.
  • Maintain databases, legal standards, and track expenses and contractor paperwork.
  • Collaborate with marketing and social media teams on promotional assets and audience engagement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in communications, media, marketing, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 2–4 years of experience in audio production, journalism, or digital media.
  • Knowledge of podcasting tools, scripting, editing, publishing; proficiency with audio editing software (e.g., Pro Tools, Adobe Audition).
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., Megaphone, Libsyn).
  • Strong writing, research, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with recording equipment or guest booking (preferred).
  • Understanding of biblical principles in content development (a plus).
  • Ability to work independently or in teams under tight deadlines, managing multiple projects.
  • Attention to detail, collaborative style, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for our mission.
  • Must pass reference and background checks, and have legal authorization to work in the U.S.
