The responsibilities for this role include: Understanding and executing all aspects of the design process and project complexities to contribute to the success of the team, while adhering to firm and project standards in interior design, execution, and living design. Developing and coordinating detailed design concepts, functional requirements, and project-design criteria. Leading in the architectural design process and integrating standalone interior projects and concepts. Facilitating interior design efforts and project teams, including design direction and client engagement. Participating in marketing efforts and leading design presentations to prospective clients. Coordinating the integration of engineering systems into the overall design. Reviewing work for accuracy, compliance, and clarity according to the Project Delivery Manual. Collaborating in design reviews, charettes, and pin-ups. Communicating effectively to inspire high team performance and innovative design ideas. Coordinating with clients, partners, and consultants during schematic and development phases. Additional responsibilities include mentoring staff, understanding technical skills and certifications, and proficiency in relevant software and tools. The role requires a professional degree in interiors, architecture, or related discipline, and certifications such as LEED AP or others are preferred.
