JOB TITLE:
Ceramics Work Study Assistant
DEPARTMENT INFORMATION:The Department of Visual Arts hosts all manner of majors in Studio Arts as well as Art History and Museum Studies.
Job location: Visual Arts Building
Pay rate or range: $10/hr
JOB PURPOSE:
Assist professor in upkeep of ceramics classroom

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain supplies and inventory.
- Mix clay and glazes, manage student in-class cleaning tasks, load and unload kilns, filing and labeling, cleaning and health safety duties.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Basic knowledge of art studio areas. Previous ceramics area experience. Time management and accountability.
Must be eligible, have received and accepted work study award through Student Financial Aid for the applicable semester and/or academic year.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ceramics or Studio Art Major
