Overview

The Lewis Center for the Arts is seeking two Videographers to record various events presented by the Center's Programs in Creative Writing, Dance, Music Theater, Theater, Visual Arts, and the Princeton Atelier. Our Videographers are responsible for shooting footage for archival purposes related to Lewis Center activities, including course readings, lectures, and Academic and Thesis performances.

This position is temporary.

Responsibilities

These exciting opportunities offer hands-on experience working with state-of-the-art equipment alongside experienced professionals within the Lewis Center’s community. The positions require highly motivated and responsible individuals with the ability and availability to transport, set up equipment, and record events during afternoon, evening, and weekend hours.

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have a track record of working independently on assigned projects from planning through event recording and returning equipment to secure, stored locations after each event. The ideal person will possess proven experience with video recording techniques, camera operation, and a clear understanding of the post-production timeline and editing processes.

Prior experience with Canon UHD video cameras and video accessory equipment is desired. Specific training will be provided. The work schedule is flexible and will vary depending on activities and video projects assigned.
