Who We Are Looking For: We are in search of an innovative Marketing Associate who is eager to work across an integrated marketing strategy with clients and TOMIS members, will positively enhance our work culture, is eager to realize their full potential and willing to support our team in a variety of initiatives. Role & Responsibilities:
Your role as a TOMIS Marketing Associate will be both evolving and exciting. You will be working directly with Marketing Managers to develop, implement, monitor, and report out on multifaceted digital marketing campaigns for our clients in the tourism industry. This position will be an instrumental member of every team, with tremendous potential for growth.
This role has limited direct client management. You will have the support and oversight of a Marketing Manager or a Senior Marketing Manager in client management, communications, and reporting.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of applicable work or academic experience
Must work well and communicate effectively with a small team while being able to manage multiple projects at a time
Highly organized with grave attention to detail and the ability to find the right answers quickly
Manage daily administrative tasks to ensure the marketing department runs smoothly
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities
Gather and analyze consumer behavior data (e.g. web traffic and rankings)
Implement strategic initiatives outlined and assigned by Marketing Managers
Experience creating email campaigns, automation, audience segmentation, and retargeting a plus
Understanding of website analytics and data analysis a plus
Content marketing experience
Develop and promote digital campaigns for clients across Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, MailChimp, and other social platforms in coordination with the Marketing Manager
Create advertising materials (e.g. ad creative, newsletters) in coordination with the Marketing Manager
Monitor and analyze sales and marketing metrics (website traffic, conversion rates, SEO initiatives, social, paid campaigns) to ensure success, using the agile methodology to adjust as needed
Generate innovative ideas to promote brands and businesses in the tourism industry in coordination with the Marketing Manager
Ensure brand consistency across all channels for each client
Ability to effectively lead multiple projects at the same time and manage time and prioritized task management
Track project performance to analyze the success and completion of established business goals in coordination with the Marketing Manager
Assist in establishing a strong, long‑term web presence for all clients in coordination with the Marketing Manager
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of marketing digital tools and techniques
Experience with SEO (Technical SEO experience is a major plus)
Experience with WordPress, SquareSpace or other website builder
Solid computer skills, including MS Excel or Google Sheets, and Google Analytics
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong analytical skills with a goal‑oriented, solutionist attitudeExperience, understanding and/or passion for the outdoor activity/tourism industry
Passion to learn new skills and work/think outside the box
Graphic design experience(Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud knowledge)
