We are partnering with a leading investment management firm in Boston, MA to identify a Digital Marketing Lead focused on Institutional Clients. This role will be responsible for driving and executing digital marketing initiatives—from strategic planning through implementation, performance tracking, and optimization. The ideal candidate will bring at least 3 years of digital marketing experience, preferably within the financial services sector.
This is a 12+ month contract position that will pay $31/hr (depending on experience) within a 40-hour work week. This position is required to be onsite 3 days per week in their Boston office.
Responsibilities:
Own and manage the ongoing Institutional marketing calendars across email (eDM), social media, and website channels. Lead the compliance review process for digital marketing content, including web pages, email campaigns, and thought leadership pieces. Oversee Workfront submissions for email, web, and digital requests, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all entries. Review and provide strategic input on email and social media content to ensure alignment with digital best practices and brand standards. Partner with global teams to implement website updates, manage social media programs, and build email campaigns within Marketo. Conduct routine audits of web content to ensure accuracy, timely updates, and alignment with broader marketing initiatives. Develop and deliver performance reporting using tools such as MSI, Marketo Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, and Sprinklr to support Channel Marketing and Sales. Manage execution of third-party digital advertising programs in partnership with vendors such as Pensions & Investments and Institutional Investor. Conduct quarterly competitive analysis to inform strategic planning and uncover new opportunities for audience engagement. Provide project management support to the global Digital Engagement team, including meeting coordination, note-taking, and follow-up tracking.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline. Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing communications; background in financial services or employee benefits is a plus. Proven track record of planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns that deliver measurable outcomes. Direct experience managing eDM campaigns end-to-end, including development, deployment, and performance analysis. Proficiency with marketing automation and CRM platforms, particularly Marketo, MSI, and Salesforce. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including use of advanced functions and pivot tables. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail. Well-developed project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. Self-starter with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
