Job Description

Our growing business has an immediate opening for a field service technician. The successful candidate will have a background in troubleshooting and installing low voltage electrical, A/V cabling, and IT knowledge. Experience working with high-end integrated systems, including sound systems installation and service, media rooms, and camera systems, will be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and support complex audio/video systems in various customer environments.
• Diagnose and service audio/video equipment. Ability to work independently or as part of a team to install and troubleshoot AV systems.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of experience in residential or commercial audio/video installation.
• Ability to troubleshoot, problem solve, and develop creative solutions.
• Self-motivated with the ability to see projects through from start to finish.
• Knowledge and experience with low-voltage systems.
• Professional demeanor and clean work appearance.
• Excellent client interaction and relationship skills.
• Ability to work well individually and in a team.
• Desire and drive to learn new products and systems.
• Proficient in cable management.
• CTS Certification is a plus.

License/Certification

• Driver's License (Required)

• In person

Schedule

• Full-time position with occasional overtime. Most work Monday through Friday, 8-5, with potential evening and weekend work.
• Rotating after-hours and weekend on-call schedule.

Willingness to travel

• Up to 50% travel required.

Additional Considerations

• May involve heavy lifting and carrying of A/V equipment. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
