Job Description

Codeworks is a locally owned and operated IT Services firm in SE Wisconsin, known for our strong commitment to quality and for our direct client relationships.

Our direct financial services client located in New York City, NY is looking for an experienced Senior User Experience Designer to join their team. Our client is seeking a user-centered Product Designer who understands and applies established design patterns while knowing when to adapt or evolve them.

Other responsibilities include:

Leveraging user research—both qualitative and quantitative—to inform thoughtful, scalable design solutions.
You'll collaborate across teams to iterate on designs, balancing immediate deliverables with long-term product vision.
Design intuitive and accessible experiences that meet user and business needs
Develop a consistent interaction design language across platforms and systems
Contribute to the evolution of the Learnvest product experience—from initial onboarding to long-term user engagement—for both end users and financial planners

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

Experience as a Product Designer
Proficiency in Figma
Strong understanding of Interaction Design
Familiarity with Agile User Experience practices
4+ years of experience designing user interfaces for complex digital products
Strong focus on user needs, attention to detail, and solution-oriented thinking
Solid understanding of visual and interaction design principles, user-centered design, and product development
Effective communication skills with the ability to advocate for the user throughout the design process
A broad perspective on UX that includes research, concepting, user flows, sitemaps, wireframes, prototypes, and design documentation
Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, or similar
An online portfolio showcasing relevant work is required

Codeworks, LLC discloses that the anticipated hourly pay range for this position is between $50/hr and $62/hr. This range is subject to change based on job-related factors, including client requirements where applicable.
