Job Summary

Assist library patrons with checking materials in and out at the Public Services desk. Shelve library materials. Help patrons with basic computer, directional, and library resource questions. Assist users in finding materials on the shelf. Refer in-depth questions to research librarian. Maintain the collaborative lab area, e.g., cleaning computers, filling printers with paper, and shelving materials. Maintain the Reading Room by clearing tables and pushing in chairs. Keep the Public Services area clean and organized. Occasionally work on special library projects as required.

Minimum Qualifications

Type at least 30 words per minute; enjoy working with people.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
