Job Title: Multimedia Designer
Location: Vienna, VA, Winchester, VA or Pensacola, FL
Contractor Work Model: Hybrid, onsite 2-3 days a week
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Pay Rate: Open to W2
Position Type: Multiyear Contract

Looking for candidates with 3-5 years of experience (not a senior role).

Description

To design and develop multimedia elements (graphics, animations, audio, video, print) to support employee learning and development initiatives and business objectives. To create courseware to meet training needs and enhance the learning experience. To provide multimedia services to support key communications and productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Create Articulate Storyline/promotional games and animations - Moderately Complex/Varied
• Develop instructional and training materials using current technologies
• Design original visuals for product demos, guides, presentations, brochures, web, videos, logos/icons
• Design graphical user interfaces; enhance images, videos, audio; convert analog movies to digital
• Create print materials like agendas, banners, signage, name tags, network maps, announcements
• Research emerging technologies and recommend solutions
• Collaborate with internal teams to implement processes and system enhancements
• Conduct user acceptance testing and validate results
• Ensure clear and effective communication of materials
• Maintain knowledge through professional development
• Monitor projects for schedule and goal achievement
• Participate in teams and initiatives across the organization

Qualifications

• Experience creating animations and interactive e-learning elements
• Experience developing graphical user interfaces
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently or in teams
• Experience in multimedia development in a corporate setting
• Experience recording/editing audio, video, and photos for e-learning
• Experience working in cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of media principles and channels
• Understanding of training techniques
• Proficiency in database and presentation software
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to translate processes into understandable terms
• Effective communication skills at all organizational levels
• Good judgment and initiative
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
