Your New Role...

The Freelance Broadcast Designer is responsible for designing and executing broadcast graphics, conceptualizing and designing for live sports telecasts, creating insert graphics, directing motion graphics, and supporting broadcast production teams.

This role requires collaboration with the creative team, production, and sales personnel. It also requires staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to provide strategic and effective broadcast coverage solutions.

Role Accountabilities...

• Stay aware of current trends in graphic design across all platforms (print, linear, digital). Maintain sharp design skills and sensibilities.
• Conceptualize and design motion graphics for live sports telecasts. Provide guidance for graphic requests from production and sales teams. Must be available to work weekends and some evenings.
• Collaborate with Directors, Producers, ADs, and PAs to ensure requests are fulfilled. Maintain daily communication with creative and production teams.
• Fulfill brand and league partner requirements to enhance fan experience and maintain a competitive marketplace advantage.
• Understand and utilize software and hardware for creating motion graphics. Find creative solutions to production challenges and stay updated on new technologies in live sports graphics production.

Qualifications & Experiences...

• Experience or understanding of graphic design; motion graphic design is a plus. Proficiency with software/hardware like Illustrator, Photoshop, AfterEffects is necessary.
• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, New Media Design, or related field.
