We are seeking a Strategic Communication and Outreach Specialist based in Fort Belvoir, VA.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with disseminating R&D information to DLA stakeholders, including project details and stakeholder groups such as J-3, J-6, J-7, J-8, and DLA MSCs.
  • Attend monthly JDMTP meetings and semiannual R&D program meetings, briefings, and DMC presentations.
  • Assist with theme, article, and input assignments; coordinate and clear publications through the J6 PAO.
  • Develop a social media plan in coordination with DLA PAO for DLA social media platforms.
  • Assist in developing marketing/public relations plans and educational products for the program.
  • Gather requirements, analyze, and recommend data input forms and web reports.
  • Maintain DLA R&D presence on internal and external websites with current information.
  • Conduct research, prepare statistical reports, and manage information requests.
  • Post events to the KM Portal and keep documentation updated for stakeholders.
  • Support DLA participation and input for OSD conference preparations.
  • Manage organization documentation related to marketing, public relations, schedules, and analysis.
  • Develop strategic communications and social media plans, including materials like brochures, one-pagers, and metrics reports.
