MUST HAVE:

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in a similar position.
• Experience in creating marketplace platforms using WooCommerce, Shopify and PrestaShop.
• Experience in modifying and extending WordPress plugins to adapt them to specific needs.
• Knowledge of the Elementor page builder tool. Proficient knowledge of SEO tools (such as Yoast or RankMath) and website performance optimization techniques.
• Experience working with REST API.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to independently estimate project work based on provided business requirements.
• Very good command of English and Polish, minimum B2+.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience working as a Freelancer.
• Technical knowledge of no-code/low-code FluxBuilder.
• Ability to integrate WordPress with mobile applications via REST API.
• Solving compatibility issues between WP and mobile frontend – no-code/low-code.

Currently, we are looking for a person who will join the WP Kraken Team as a Freelance Web Developer. As part of our collaboration, we assume the possibility of assigning you additional projects in situations when our team does not have sufficient resources. Depending on your availability, these may be tasks with an estimated workload of 10 to 30 hours per week, completed within a timeframe of 2 to 8 weeks.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Creating new websites and stores on WordPress using WooCommerce and Elementor, customizing templates and functions to client requirements.
• Creating and modifying WordPress/WooCommerce plugins – adapting existing plugins to specific client requirements, adding new features, bug fixes, performance optimization.
• Modification and development of existing WooCommerce and Shopify stores, including customizing appearance, functionality, and integrations.
• Migrating websites and stores between platforms (e.g., migration from WooCommerce to Shopify or vice versa), including transferring products, orders, customers, and content. Integration of marketing, analytics and payment tools in stores on both platforms.
• SEO optimization and performance optimization of e-commerce sites.
• Technical support and troubleshooting, updates and store maintenance.
• Support in project estimation.
• Collaboration with the project team, designers, and marketing to deliver cohesive and effective solutions.
• Maintaining direct contact with clients, mainly English-speaking, through the Zendo platform as part of ongoing project collaboration.

Massive Pixel Creation Sp. z o.o. has been operating on the market for over 15 years, focusing on international markets. MPC owns several brands such as Zendo, MassivePixel.io, and WP Kraken . Each of them offers different services/products, but all belong to the parent company MPC.

We create our products, provide outsourcing services, and have a service department called WP Kraken, for which we are currently seeking a Freelance Web Developer. Over the years, our service department has expanded its offerings to cover more technologies, but this was not the best path. We are now working on a more focused offering centered around WordPress (a return to our roots). The WP Kraken brand is currently undergoing a complete rebranding, and we are also working on a new lead acquisition strategy. We want our services to be as productized as possible, rather than custom-made as they have been so far.
