The Creative Services Assistant is responsible for managing guest and studio needs during our 1-hour lifestyle show, Arkansas Style, as well as editing videos for the show daily. You’ll work closely with the host and producer to ensure the show runs smoothly.

This position also oversees closed captioning of local and paid programs, manages branding and distribution of episodic promos to Master Control, and assists with other departmental needs as required.

Responsibilities include:

1. Managing guests daily, greeting them, and escorting them to and from the studio for Arkansas Style.
2. Serving as Studio Director between 2-3 pm daily, which includes moving set pieces, shading cameras, attending to host needs, mic placement, directing camera operators, and preparing for special segments.
3. Assisting with shoots and editing videos for Arkansas Style, promotions, and commercials.
4. Editing episodic promos and localizing network promos.
5. Coordinating with Sales, Master Control, and captioning services to oversee local closed captioning.
6. Editing commercials and paid programs to include closed captioning as needed.
7. Performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Some college coursework or related experience in broadcasting, film, or media production is preferred.
• Experience with non-linear editing software, specifically Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Strong communication and grammar skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, and other office equipment.
