Job Title: Direct to Film (DTF) Printing Technician
Location: Lexington
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Direct to Film (DTF) Printing Technician to join our uniform manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining DTF printing equipment, ensuring high-quality prints, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the production process. This role requires a keen eye for detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to producing top-notch printed uniforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain DTF printing equipment to produce high-quality prints on various uniform materials.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of printing machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the design and production teams to understand printing requirements and specifications.
- Inspect printed materials for quality assurance, ensuring that all prints meet company standards.
- Manage inventory of printing supplies and order new materials as needed.
- Stay updated on the latest DTF printing technologies and techniques to continuously improve the printing process.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on DTF printing procedures and best practices.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Proven experience as a DTF Printing Technician or similar role in a manufacturing setting.
- In-depth knowledge of DTF printing processes, equipment, and materials.
- Strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve printing issues.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality prints.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
- Experience in the uniform manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with graphic design software and digital printing technologies.
- Certification in DTF printing or related fields.
- Ability to lift and move heavy printing materials and equipment.
- Standing for extended periods while operating printing machinery.
- Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
