Responsibilities
- Videotapes programs and events for broadcast on our website
- Operates complex video and audio equipment
- Performs editing procedures
- Prepares videotaped programs and events for broadcast in our website
- Transports video and audio equipment to various sites for purpose of videotaping.
- May use computer applications software in the performance of the job.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND ATTRIBUTES:
- Good knowledge of principles and practices used in video production and the operation of complex video equipment.
- Good working knowledge of safe working practices; ability to use complex video and audio equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with everyone
- Ability to use computer applications software; electronic aptitude; initiative; resourcefulness; tact; courtesy; integrity; good judgment; physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Either:
(a) Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and an Associate's Degree in Media or Communication Arts or a closely related field and one (1) year of video production experience; or (b) graduation from a trade school specializing in the media arts, and three (3) years of experience as described in (a); or (c) an equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (a) and (b).
SPECIAL NOTE: Education may not be substituted for 1 year of video production experience.
