$120,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr

Arketa is building the operating system for modern fitness and wellness. Our mission is to make wellness more accessible by empowering studios and wellness entrepreneurs to grow beyond in-person classes. We provide a powerful, all-in-one platform to manage and scale hybrid wellness businesses—whether online, in-person, or both.

With Arketa, users can easily manage schedules, accept bookings and payments, build on-demand video libraries, host retreats, and run marketing campaigns via text and email. We also offer fully branded apps and websites, so studios can deliver a seamless, professional experience across every customer touchpoint.

The Role:

Arketa is seeking a talented and motivated Product Designer who is a self-starter. You'll play a key role in shaping our design systems and user experiences, ensuring consistency and scalability across our products. As we enter a period of rapid growth, you'll be instrumental in creating intuitive, accessible, and visually compelling designs from the ground up.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the design and execution of the frontend design system, ensuring a cohesive and scalable user experience across all platforms
• Collaborate closely with the product and engineering teams to define and implement new features and design solutions
• Take ownership of the user interface design, from wireframes and prototypes to high-fidelity visuals
• Continuously iterate on design systems to improve efficiency and maintain consistency
• Partner with the product team to align design with business goals and user needs
• Present design concepts, updates, and cross-team launches at company-wide check-ins
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices in design and user experience
  
  

What We’re Looking For:

• Design-first mentality: You thrive in a design-centric role and enjoy creating high-quality, user-centered interfaces
• Experienced in design systems: You've contributed to or led the creation of a design system that supports a growing product
• 5+ years of experience in product design (with a strong portfolio showcasing your design expertise and process)
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
• Strong understanding of frontend development: While you're primarily focused on design, you're comfortable collaborating with developers on implementing your designs (React, Tailwind, and Typescript)
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
• Organized, self-sufficient, and proactive with the ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously

For this role, the estimated annual base salary range is $120,000–$180,000, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, we offer equity and performance-based bonuses as part of our total compensation package. We believe in compensating fairly and transparently, and we’re happy to provide more detail during the interview process.
