Who you are

We’re looking for a highly creative and self-directed Senior Content Creator to lead the development and execution of social media content across our anime and pop culture brands, including Godzilla and TOHO animation STORE US . This is a senior-level role that blends strategy, production, and visual storytelling. You’ll own the end-to-end process, from concepting and shooting to editing and publishing, while helping shape the visual voice of our social channels.

What you'll do

• Own and execute the visual content strategy across TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube, and emerging platforms
• Concept, shoot, and edit original photo and video content for social, campaigns, digital ads, and product drops
• Create and maintain style guides and content playbooks for brand consistency
• Help manage the social content calendar, including production timelines and publishing schedules
• Attend and capture behind-the-scenes content at events, photoshoots, activations, and premieres
• Collaborate with creative directors, designers, and marketers to build content that supports launches, paid campaigns, and cultural moments
• Monitor social, pop culture, anime, and entertainment trends to keep our content fresh and relevant
• Track content performance and adapt strategy based on analytics and business goals
• Maintain and organize a clean asset library of imagery and video for internal and external use
• Work closely with social media managers and performance marketing to tailor assets for ads and engagement
• Guide junior team members or freelancers if applicable

What you have:

• 3+ years of content creation experience, ideally in-house at a brand or agency
• Strong photography and videography skills, with proficiency in editing tools like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Photoshop, or similar
• Strong portfolio showcasing photo and video content, including short-form, social media visuals, and branded photography.
• Experience developing content strategies for TikTok, YouTube, Instagram Reels, and Instagram Stories
• Strong understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and best practices
• Comfort working both independently and collaboratively across departments
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
• Passion for anime, entertainment, streetwear, or fan-driven culture is a major plus
• Ability to work on-site in LA and attend events or shoots as needed
