The Ideal Candidate:

A versatile and skilled content producer with exceptional technical expertise in videography, editing, and production. You have a creative eye for storytelling, understanding of hockey and sports content creation, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Your technical proficiency with Adobe Suite combined with your storytelling abilities allows you to create compelling content that resonates with fans across all Chicago Blackhawks properties. The Top Shelf:

The Content Producer will be responsible for creating high-impact video content that captures the excitement and essence of the Chicago Blackhawks brand. This role requires a blend of technical skill, creative vision, and sports knowledge to produce engaging content across multiple platforms. You'll work independently and collaboratively to shoot, edit, and produce content while meeting tight deadlines and maintaining brand standards. Your work will directly connect fans to the team through compelling visual storytelling.

How You'll Contribute:

Content Creation & Production Utilize strong post-production skills with the latest version of Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Media Encoder, and Audition)Demonstrate excellent production skills, including camera operation, lighting, and sound Operate various camera systems while maintaining and ensuring accurate equipment storage and upkeepField produce shoots, analyzing requirements for properly executing aspects such as sound and lightingApply knowledge of wired and wireless audio workflows and green screen pre/post-productionCompress and export content in multiple formats for web, TV, LEDs, and video on demandCreate compelling pieces of varying length with an eye for storytelling while adhering to brand guidelines Creative & Technical Expertise Stay current with trends in the sports and entertainment content industryApply understanding of hockey and what matters in the course of a game to create relevant contentDirect talent and subjects during shoots to capture authentic and engaging footageMaintain attention to detail and a good eye for aesthetics in all produced contentTravel for game coverage and marquee events (NHL Draft, NHL Awards, All-Star games, etc.)Work efficiently under pressure with tight deadlines and high expectations for excellenceTeam Collaboration Work both independently and collaboratively with the content teamBuild positive relationships with players, staff, and external partners. Exhibit positive interpersonal skills and comfort initiating conversationsContribute creative ideas for innovative content that elevates the Chicago Blackhawks brand.

Qualifications: Five (5) plus years working in video production, with strong preference for candidates with sports production experience, especially shooting hockey Strong portfolio demonstrating video production skills (demo reel/work samples required with application)Bachelor's degree in Cinematography, Film Production, Marketing, or related fieldExpert proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and video production equipment. Experience with directing talent preferred. Understanding of multiple video formats and delivery platforms. Self-motivated with ability to work well under tight deadlines. Willing and able to work long nights, weekends, and travel as needed. Able to occasionally move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Valid driver's license for duties related to this position. Passionate about working for a professional sports team. Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilitiesAdaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
