The Architectural Designer supports CPH in all aspects of the design process, including presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration. The Architectural Designer supports CPH in all aspects of the design process, including presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration. This role requires collaboration with a diverse project team and follows the established standards to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Duties & Responsibilities -
- Prepare accurate architectural presentations, design, and construction documents using REVIT.
- Collaborate and coordinate with the project team, including architects, designers, consultants, and clients, to ensure cohesive design integration.
- Research and interpret relevant codes and client requirements to inform design decisions.
- Implement and utilize established REVIT standards, families, and templates to maintain consistency and quality.
- Prepare specifications and review shop drawings for compliance and accuracy.
- Conduct periodic travel for building investigations, measurements, and construction observation, including the preparation of subsequent reports and exhibits.
- Assist in compiling construction plans from all disciplines for submittal to agencies with jurisdiction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Experience with retail, restaurant, or commercial projects
- Proficiency in REVIT, Sketchup and Adobe Suite
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook and familiarity with Deltek Vision and Smartsheet or similar software's platforms.
- Ability to effectively multi-task and work on multiple projects while adhering to project schedules and budgets.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
- A Master's degree is preferred.
- Dependent upon experience.
