Job Summary
The Sr. Manager of Video and Social Media leads the development and execution of engaging, impactful content that supports our mission of spreading faith-based messages to a broad audience. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of our video production and social media strategy, ensuring our message reaches and resonates with diverse audiences across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, a background in video production, social media strategy, and a deep understanding of the Christian faith and values.

Job Summary
The Sr. Manager of Video and Social Media leads the development and execution of engaging, impactful content that supports our mission of spreading faith-based messages to a broad audience. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of our video production and social media strategy, ensuring our message reaches and resonates with diverse audiences across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, a background in video production, social media strategy, and a deep understanding of the Christian faith and values.
Essential Functions:
Planning and Organizing
- Strategy Development: Lead the strategic planning and implementation of video and social media campaigns aligned with our organizational mission and goals.
- Content Creation: Oversee the production of high-quality video content, from concept through post-production. Collaborate with content creators to produce original, compelling videos, stories, and posts that communicate our core message and mission.
- Social Media Management: Develop and execute social media strategies across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, TikTok, etc.), using both organic and paid strategies to grow and engage our community.
- Audience Engagement: Cultivate an online community, interacting with followers, responding to comments, and fostering meaningful discussions that align with our faith values. Use social listening tools to stay informed on relevant trends and topics.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor a team of social media and video professionals, volunteers, and contractors. Provide guidance to help team members grow creatively and professionally.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all video and social media content maintains brand integrity, aligns with our Christian values, and consistently communicates our organizational voice.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro), social media management tools, and analytics platforms. Strong understanding of video production, from scripting to shooting to editing.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey faith-based messages thoughtfully and effectively.
- Work closely with other departments (e.g., marketing, events, donor relations) to support organizational initiatives and promote campaigns through video and social media channels.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Track and analyze performance metrics for video and social media campaigns. Use data insights to optimize content strategy, increase engagement, and report on campaign effectiveness to stakeholders.

- Participate in on-air fundraising and pray for donors over the phone as needed
- Participate in ministry wide Christian bible studies
- Attend Staff Gatherings for prayer and devotions
- Other duties as requested.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in media production, communications, marketing, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in video production and social media management, ideally in a nonprofit or ministry setting. Proven track record of leading and executing successful digital media campaigns.
