The Opportunity

We’re hiring an Associate Creative Director to lead creative thinking, drive strategic storytelling, and pitch bold campaign ideas to brands and agencies. This role is perfect for someone ready to step into true creative leadership, with the potential to grow quickly into a Creative Director role.

You’ll work closely with the Chief Creative Officer and creative team to concept, present and oversee work for brand partnerships. You’ll own the client pitch, inspire internal teams, and evolve OpenFortune’s creative capabilities as we continue to scale globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead creative concept development and pitch ideas for client campaigns
• Partner with leadership to shape brand strategy and long-term creative roadmaps
• Write briefs, lead brainstorms, and collaborate with designers and copywriters
• Present directly to senior-level clients and prospects
• Continuously generate new creative ideas to grow and deepen partnerships
• Contribute to the evolution of OpenFortune’s brand identity and messaging
• Work cross-functionally with sales, operations, and production to ensure creative excellence and delivery
• Represent OpenFortune at key client meetings and creative reviews

What You Bring

• 5–8 years of experience in creative roles across art direction, copywriting, creative strategy, experiential, content innovation, and/or brand storytelling
• Portfolio of work that proves you have the ability to create bold, original, and impossible-to-ignore ideas across any and all media formats
• Understand client objectives and translate them into successful, long-term creative partnerships
• Confidence and clarity to pitch creative ideas in fast-paced, high-pressure situations to senior marketing stakeholders
• Obsession with advertising and culture you know what makes people stop, share, and remember
• Strong creative point of view and the presence to sell your vision
• Instinct to tie creativity to business relevance
• Comfort with ambiguity and the courage to share even the “crazy” ideas
• Ability to translate business problems into breakthrough creative thinking
• Ambition and work ethic to grow into a Creative Director

Strongly Preferred

• Experience at non-traditional creative agencies, experiential agencies or brand studios where ideas are built to drive cultural relevance, participation and emotional connection
• Background in innovation studios, design-forward environments, or platform-native creative teams (social, content, product storytelling)
• Proven success pitching and presenting big, strategic, cross-channel ideas directly to marketing teams and executive
• Work that demonstrates original thinking, narrative strength and the ability to shape brand perception, not just execute campaigns
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments where creative directly impacts revenue and long-term partnerships
• Base salary: $110,000–$140,000, depending on experience
