About the Role We are looking for a PR Director with a passion for results and success, who is ready to dive in. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise and media contacts in Consumer Lifestyle & Technology, having worked previously with clients in either Consumer Technology, Lifestyle Brands and/or Digital Media companies. We are looking for someone with a can-do positive attitude, who can successfully develop and manage a diverse team. You will solve client and team problems, while providing exceptional service, and you will possess a wide range of media and industry contacts to help you succeed. The role will help on new business opportunities and be continually developing new industry and media contacts. The right candidate will be flexible to the fast-moving changes of the industry, willing to continually adapt and learn, and work beyond the traditional media landscape with digital and social media channels. Qualifications ·A minimum of 8+ years' experience in the desired sectors ·Majority of previous experience is within a PR agency ·Strong expertise in leading high-profile campaigns for global brands, with proven track record of success ·Ability to turn a client brief into a solid PR strategy and land results, working across the wide range of traditional and digital media platforms available today ·Rock-solid and extensive professional relationships ·Seasoned in client strategy, planning, execution, reporting and relations. ·Excellent interpersonal & verbal communication skills to problem solve & create solutions ·Strong leadership, people management, and team building skills ·Highly organised and attentive to details, takes pride in delivering outstanding work ·Experienced in all areas of PR from media relations strategy, to creative activations including event management, photoshoots, broadcast and editorial interviews, media training and crisis PR/damage management ·Comfortable in high-pressure, fast-paced environments, enjoys adapting to change ·Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines at one-time with ease and confidence ·A voracious consumer of pop culture and news, with a strong desire to keep up with news and changes facing the industry and clients Responsibilities ·Serve as a senior counsel and account leader for high level clients ·Oversee and manage account managers working across multiple clients, providing daily guidance and senior support · Ensure client campaigns are completed as agreed, on time and budget, and goals are consistently met ·Develop long and short-term plans for clients, including measurable KPI’s, PR goals, strategies/tactics, timeline, key storylines, on-brand targets and creative ways to reach and convert them ·Approving written work for the team, editing, copywriting, and ensuring it's on brand i.e., press releases, bios, one-sheets, media kits ·Approving publicity strategies and pitching materials, re-writing if needed , ensuring they will land results ·Developing publicity strategies and messaging for specific clients ·Daily team guidance and training, creating templates for future team growth ·Contribute to client success with high leveleditor and media relations, ·Regularly hold calls/meetings to introduce and expand agency media and industry contacts. Turn into results for clients ·Project management and leadership at in-person events and creative activations, photo-shoots, red carpets, and meetings, leading the program and managing the team ·Conduct annual team performance reviews and set goals with employees ·Be focused on meeting annual profit goals and client retention levels ·Contribute to new client acquisition and produce creative and compelling proposals ·Maintain detailed reports of client goals and progress to share with agency CEO weekly ·Contribute to the overall leadership of Miller PR, proactively helping better the agency and team with new initiatives, policies and procedures · Oversee agency output to ensure quality control and client ROI ·Stay abreast of latest tech/digital, lifestyle, entertainment industry/trades, music, consumer and social media trends and leverage to advantage ·Keeping clients happy with client retention - so they stay long term, extending contracts, expanding services and scope of contract ·Maintaining employee retention with a happy team showing positive and upbeat morale · Elevating employee performance with passionate team members who are driven and securing great results and high-quality work under your expert guidance and management ·Securing your own results by personally landing significant results that make an impact to the client and agency, not only press results, but other celebrity, creator or influencer contacts that are valuable and generate client results ·Demonstrating initiative with the ability to think ahead and plan for all possibilities and troubleshoot with a positive solutions-based approach ·Further establishing communication with transparent and open communication always to the Senior Leadership Team, any issues or concerns are communicated professionally and politely and in a timely manner ·Growing business development by securing new clients with opportunities you have brought to the agency and successfully helped sign as new clients, to any area of the business, not only your division ·Establishing trust by being reliable and honest, keeping your word when agreements are made and following through on them ·Ensure the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) is supported at all times and with any changes or decisions, helps implement new company systems and policies with positivity for clear and open communication with the SLT, and a mutual relationship of respect and understanding ·Continues relationship building from networking at events that create an impact for the clients and agency, for new results, new client generation, or overall positive marketing and awareness of the company and its full scope of services ·Contributes to the agency culture and company organization by being proactive with ideas to enhance the company culture, improve the workplace and company systems HOW TO APPLY Please include resume, cover letter detailing your experience and recent campaigns you were involved to info@miller-pr.com.
