Job Description: Arcadia University invites applications for a part-time adjunct instructor to teach Drawing I and Drawing II in the Department of Art & Design.

The number of part-time instructors hired by the department varies from semester to semester, depending upon the needs of the program. When a position is available, qualified applicants may be contacted for an interview and asked to submit further documentation. While there may not be immediate openings, the hiring manager will review applications when openings do occur.

Responsibilities
- The ideal candidate will be committed to inclusive, student-centered teaching and able to engage students from diverse backgrounds in a supportive and dynamic learning environment.
- Each class meets twice weekly in three-hour sessions over a 16-week semester. This position is contracted on a semester-by-semester basis.
- These courses introduce students to perceptual, conceptual, and technical approaches to drawing and are expected to incorporate diverse perspectives.
- We seek an instructor with an MFA or equivalent degree who demonstrates a strong foundation in drawing practices-ranging from observational to experimental methods-and a working knowledge of art history relevant to the course content.
