Responsibilities:
- Create design concepts and develop them through all design phases.
- Select and specify interior finish materials, and produce finish material boards.
- Utilize space planning, knowledge of codes, and understanding of mechanical systems.
- Produce construction documentation, oversee construction administration, and review submittals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture (CIDA accredited).
- NCIDQ certification is a plus.
- Experience in Educational and Healthcare sectors is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting design concepts to clients.
- Proficient in Revit, Sketchup + Vray, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign.
- Experience in finish material selections, specifications, and production of material boards.
- Strong skills in space planning, code compliance, and mechanical systems understanding.
- Experience in production of construction documentation, construction administration, and review of submittals.
- Strong customer service orientation, ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
