BRCTV-13 is seeking a multi-media proficient News Reporter to find and report on local enterprising news stories. Excellent benefits package!

Responsibilities include:

• Shooting and editing video under deadline conditions
• Writing captivating news stories
• Scheduling interviews and news shoots
• Conducting phone interviews when necessary
• Updating social media and news website throughout the day
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism or related field
• Established residency in Pennsylvania
• Valid PA Driver's License and good driving record
• Familiarity with video editing and newsroom writing software
• Proficiency with basic office equipment such as computers
• Excellent Communication Skills – both oral and written
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Ability to workany shift on short notice
• Ability to work in a friendly and professional manner both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work effectively while adheringto company policies and procedures
