HKS, Inc. - Technical Artist

HKS, Inc. is seeking a Technical Artist to develop immersive and interactive environments for architectural projects. The role involves applying knowledge of immersive technology processes to complete design and technical tasks with originality and ingenuity.

Responsibilities

Prototype, develop, and implement features for immersive architectural experiences.
Write optimized, scalable, and well-documented code.
Test, evaluate, and debug code.
Provide technical solutions to multidisciplinary team problems.
Document workflows for visualization and mixed reality experiences.
Collaborate with team members, communicate updates, and research best practices.
Stay updated on the latest visualization and game industry developments.
Conduct training and share knowledge globally.
Travel may be required.

Qualifications

Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Computer Graphics, Animation, or related field preferred.
2-5 years of experience in gaming/visualization industry, with at least 2 years in immersive experiences.
Proficiency in C++, Blueprint scripting, and real-time 3D, VR, AR, or MR devices.
Knowledge of memory optimization, version control, and programming concepts.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information and build client relationships.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Salary Range: $63k - $73k annually, based in Los Angeles, San Diego, Denver, Seattle, Washington DC, or Chicago. Compensation may vary based on experience and location.
