Job Summary:
This hybrid role involves procuring and managing key accounts through outside business development and supporting our venue sales teams. The Manager, Production Sales, will work with sales leadership to provide exceptional service to clients, venue teams, and strategic partners.
Essential Functions:
- Support growth and profitability by serving as the primary outside sales resource, focusing on producing high-quality events within the corporate space. This includes prospecting, building relationships, and providing creative solutions.
- Generate and revise quotes for hotel leads requiring AV products and services.
- Follow the venue-based sales process, including lead prequalification, quote generation, contract confirmation, and follow-up.
- Maintain deep knowledge of Pinnacle Live's products and offerings.
- Provide clients with resources such as layouts, renderings, visuals, and product suggestions.
- Enter all relevant client information into Pinnacle Live's CRM platform.
- Collaborate effectively with the Director of Production Sales.
- Build strong internal and external relationships, including within hotel sales organizations.
- Support sales efforts across Pinnacle Live's hotel locations.
- Participate in networking organizations to develop new relationships.
Education & Experience:
- Minimum three years’ experience in a sales/customer service role; hospitality sales experience preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales insights generation.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills.
- Production, staging, scenic, and decor experience preferred.
- CMP or CEM certification desirable.
- Rigging, electrical, and exhibit experience preferred.
Travel Demands:
Travel of up to 40% required.
