Director of Admissions and Marketing
to develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians and community-based referral sources, increase Medicare and overall census, review and assess prospective residents' needs, and coordinate admissions processes. The role also involves representing the facility at community functions, events, and fundraisers. What we are looking for: Thorough knowledge of principles of effective communication, mass media, advertising, policies, education, community relations, organization structure, social and activity services, government relations, etc., as they relate to nursing facility operations. Ability to plan, organize, and effectively present ideas to community groups and agencies. Effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to analyze information from various sources and make recommendations to leadership. Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) preferred, but not required. Ability to establish and maintain effective marketing and public relations programs. Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle. Flexibility to work hours and weekends as needed. Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word. Essential Job Functions: Develop relationships with hospital case managers, discharge planners, social workers, and area physicians. Assist physicians with credentialing processes if they wish to be attending physicians. Review and assess prospective residents' medical, physical, and psychosocial needs using the facility's Green-Yellow-Red Light Tool within a 15-minute guideline.
