TITLE: Shipping Assistant

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Pack quality product and assist operators in maintaining a safe work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Follow established quality guidelines to produce a product that meets criteria.
• Closely monitor all films for conformance to specifications.
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Key in return shipments/check return shipments for accuracy.
• Key in shipment information for Bill of Landings. (Internal & Outbound)
• Issue Manual Bill of Landings for ship at night orders. (Credit Hold Orders)
• Issue discrepancy pallets to production.
• Communicate with marketing coordinator on off cut shipments/Return Shipment Problems.
• Fill of absent Shipping Coordinator/Supervisor.
• Shipment Coordinator will contact truck companies to arrange daily shipment. Shipping Coordinator will contact supervisor with truck problems.
• Control truck flow in the Plant.
• Help improve computer system information abnormality.
• Examine reasons of delay or early shipment and report to manager and related Sections to improve situation.
• Manage repack and return products abnormality.
• Process resin, bales, clusters and bleeder stock shipments.
• Run Daily Shipment Report.

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:

• Occasionally walking, standing.

Ability to work in varying temperatures (cold and hot).
