Position Description


Program, test, implement, and maintain web projects under direct supervision. Handle basic issues and problems. Project development includes coordination with designers, managers, other developers, and IT support personnel. Research, program, document, and modify web projects throughout their life cycle. Learn through training, individual research, and/or additional education.

Major/Essential Functions


Content & Visual Integration (70%)

  • Collaborates on the creation and implementation of digital content to support student engagement and marketing goals.
  • Designs and builds web pages that incorporate copy, images, and multimedia components.
  • Develops, tests, implements, and maintains web pages and digital content across University Student Housing platforms.
  • Develops and publishes clear, engaging web content in coordination with communications and design team members.
  • Monitors sites for accuracy, consistency, and up-to-date content; implements changes as needed.
Data Reporting & Professional Development (30%)
  • Supports data-informed decision making and grows technical proficiency.
  • Tracks, analyzes, and reports web and marketing metrics to inform strategy and improve engagement.
  • Participates in individual learning, training, and professional development to enhance web development skills.
  • Stays informed of emerging technologies, higher ed digital trends, and campus tools to improve user experience.
  • Documents changes and updates to ensure continuity and transparency in development processes.


Required Qualifications


Bachelor's or associates' degree in computer science, MIS, IT, or other related field plus one year of experience OR a combination of related education and/or experience.
