We are currently seeking an IT Audio / Visual Technician for the new J Resort, a full-service hotel-casino with over 300 rooms, offering a variety of slots and table games. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide AV support in casino environments, including PC imaging, deployment, and maintenance.
  2. Troubleshoot and maintain critical infrastructure, printers, and peripherals.
  3. Support Teams video conferencing.
  4. Coordinate solutions with IT and other departments, implementing long-term fixes.
  5. Work with vendors on software and hardware issues.
  6. Monitor hardware needs and communicate with purchasing.
  7. Collaborate with project teams and serve as a project resource.
  8. Document work and observations; submit weekly reports.
  9. Ensure compliance with company and government policies.
  10. Install and maintain AV hardware, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
  11. Provide end-user training and facilitate vendor support.
  12. Assist with setup and breakdown of events, including sound and lighting.
  13. Document hardware/software configurations and licensing.
  14. Perform low voltage cabling and assist in project setups.
  15. Work flexible hours based on event schedules.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain Nevada Gaming Registration.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a high-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of audio visual concepts, systems, and networking (TCP/IP).
  • Experience with audio, video, control systems, and system integration.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders.
  • Legal right to work in the United States.
