Job Summary
You will be the first point of contact for service customers, helping schedule repairs, writing service orders, and communicating between customers and technicians to ensure jobs are completed accurately and timely.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assess their service needs
- Open repair orders and gather vehicle and customer information
- Coordinate with technicians for diagnostics and repairs
- Keep customers informed of repair status and timelines
- Review work with customers and close service tickets
- Handle warranty claims and parts coordination
- Maintain accurate service records
Qualifications
- Experience as a service writer or advisor in commercial truck or heavy-duty equipment preferred
- Knowledge of diesel truck systems and repairs
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with service software and systems
- Valid driver’s license
