We are one of the most respected and dynamic general contractors in the nation, and we’re looking for a Producer to support the Corporate Marketing, Communications, and Creative Department at Brasfield & Gorrie’s headquarters in Birmingham, AL.
This role helps manage production schedules, media vendor relationships, track project progress, and coordinate resources across the team. Working closely with the video team as well as marketing, creative and communications managers, the Producer ensures clear communication and alignment among all team members and stakeholders. By maintaining organization and adhering to timelines, the Producer I contributes to high-quality video and photography production outcomes. Success in this role is defined by strong coordination, effective task management, consistent follow-through on multiple projects, and the ability to ensure smooth communication and organization throughout the production process.
As a Producer you will:
- Schedule video team assignments under the direction of the Creative Director taking into account team availability and project needs.
- Organize the production calendar to ensure deadlines are met.
- Coordinate creative team involvement on video assignments with the Creative Director.
- Coordinates video and photography requests with Marketing & Communications managers.
- Schedule and facilitates pre-production meetings, including preparing agendas, taking notes, creating timelines and tasks and distributing materials.
- Support shoot logistics, such as location booking, equipment prep, production materials, and personnel.
- Maintain project tracking systems for video progress, task distribution, and team utilization across multiple concurrent projects.
- Plan timeline goals and the benchmarks needed to stay on schedule.
- Support coordination of team communications by scheduling calls, responding to emails as directed, and relaying information between team members, partners, and vendors.
- Build and maintain relationships with third party studios, videographers and photographers, and support contracting and coordination.

Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in video production, film, marketing or similar, or work equivalency.
- 4+ years of experience in a similar role within an advertising agency, creative studio, production company, in-house marketing team or similar entities.
- Experience coordinating a staff of creative production professionals, such as videographers, photographers, producers, editors, asset specialists, etc.
- History of overseeing and managing photo and video projects, such as consumer campaigns, long and short form digital assets, field and studio productions, internal and external communications, digital/social content and more.
- Experience managing creative vendors and freelancers for video productions.
- Some knowledge of video production tools, methods and software
- Experience in leading and guiding video production processes, from pre- to post-production.
- Experience with digital and media asset management platforms, such as Frame.io, IPV
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, as well as project management applications
- Availability for frequent local and out-of-town travel (10%)
