Job Description:

Reporting to the Technician Coordinator of the School of Art and Design, the Part-Time Technologist C ensures that standard safety regulations are followed in the Spatial Experience Design fabrication studio and related areas. The role involves enforcing established safety practices for the use of workstations.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain inventory of all tools and equipment in the fabrication studio, research and recommend new and replacement tools, and place work orders for approved equipment and supplies.
• Inspect and maintain equipment and machinery, ensuring safety and operational standards are met.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of studio projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Provide support and training to students and staff on the safe use of equipment.
