SUMMARY
Tamarack Resort is looking for a detail-oriented and brand-savvy Copywriter & PR Associate to craft high-impact written content and maintain consistent brand voice across all marketing platforms. This full-time, on-site position is responsible for drafting press releases under the direction of the Marketing Manager and Director, supporting guest reputation efforts, contributing to Tamarack’s digital and printed magazines, and developing brand tone and messaging guidelines for use across social, email, and web content. The ideal candidate is an excellent writer with a strong grasp of storytelling, a passion for brand consistency, and the ability to translate strategic direction into compelling and cohesive copy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Write, edit, and distribute press releases, articles, and media pitches to increase positive coverage and brand awareness with guidance from the Marketing Manager and Director
· Serve as the main point of contact for media relations, building and nurturing relationships with journalists and influencers
· Maintain brand tone, voice, and messaging playbooks for use across departments and platforms
· Write and edit copy for website content, blog articles, and resort storytelling initiatives
· Support the development of email campaigns and social media content by aligning messaging with brand tone and style
· Write and edit content for Tamarack’s digital and printed magazines
· Monitor and respond to guest reviews and direct messages across social and online platforms, helping to manage the resort’s digital reputation
· Assist in the coordination and execution of internal communications and public-facing announcements
· Support crisis communication efforts and ensure accurate, appropriate messaging during high-impact situations
· Ensure accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment in all written communications
· Collaborate cross-functionally to support campaign and guest experience goals

· Exceptional writing, grammar, proofreading skills, and attention to detail
· Strong understanding of brand voice and the ability to apply it consistently across different content types
· Experience working with PR platforms and tools
· Experience working with guest review platforms and social messaging tools
· Experience writing and editing for magazines or other long-form editorial formats
· Ability to follow creative direction and work collaboratively with marketing leadership
· Highly organized with excellent time management skills and attention to detail
· Familiarity with web content management systems and email marketing platforms is a plus
· Supports cross-functional departments to achieve financial success and growth
· Ability to multi-task and juggle many projects at once
· Team player willing to and able to assist with events and other departments during busy times
