Technician Hydra/SIWCS Radio Job at Synectic Solutions, Inc. in Charleston

This position provides financial support to programs in Charleston, SC.

Primary Functions:

• Provide technical evaluations, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs of Depot Level Repairable (DLR), L3Harris Public Safety, and Motorola mobile and portable communication systems.
• Provide technical support to resolve Fleet Casualty Reports (CASREPs).
• Assist with maintaining and updating Bench Stock Repair Parts.
• Assist with repair demand planning for Radio Program.
• Provide onsite technical assistance/support to fleet activities.
• Ensure compliance with Allowance Parts Lists.
• Perform Beyond Economical Repair Analyses on Depot Level Repairable (DLR) material returned from fleet.
• Possess working knowledge of Power Amplifiers, Repeaters, and Communications Systems.
• Input daily repair log information using CMPro and MS Access databases.
• Demonstrate experience using electronic test equipment such as Signal Generators, Multimeters, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers.
• Conduct component-level repair of radio system PCB assemblies, including soldering.

Education/Experience/Skills:

• U.S. Citizenship and Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• High School diploma or GED; formal electronics training from Technical School, military school in electronics or communications, or a four-year electronics apprentice program. Training should include Installation Tasks, Soldering, Cable Dressing, Cable Tray, Conduit, and Making/Repairing Connectors.
• At least two (2) years of practical experience in electronics repair, maintenance, and checkout, with the ability to troubleshoot complex analog and digital circuits independently. Experience in SSEE installation, repair, and overhaul is preferred.
• Prior C4I technician experience with recent hands-on technical work.

All candidates will be required to pass background screening, including SSN, Driver Record, and Criminal Background Investigation.
