Position Overview: Informa Global Markets is hiring an analyst for its US Credit team. Applications are invited from reporters, market analysts, and practitioners with broad experience in DCM as well as the wider context across related markets and adjacent asset classes. This is a hybrid position based out of either Boston, MA or New York, NY.
Focus areas will include providing real-time, insightful content to meet tight deadlines, leveraging IGM’s new issue data to help our customers stay informed of market conditions and support better decision-making.
IGM’s credit market coverage focuses on the primary syndicated bond market, tracking new issues and presenting value-added intelligence through reports and data visualization.
Success requires developing and maintaining contacts with industry practitioners at all levels, to produce compelling content and shape new initiatives that deepen customer understanding of market themes and trends.
The ideal candidate will help maintain and grow IGM Credit Markets as a subscription service through a confident, innovative approach.
Prerequisites include strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of global Credit and related financial markets, and a positive attitude towards challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Producing real-time, insightful coverage of US credit markets for a professional audience, focusing on the syndicated primary debt market.
- Analyzing major new bond issues, including market talk on supply rumors, price talk, book building, and reception.
- Calculating and verifying key relative value measures to gauge market conditions.
- Developing contacts with industry players to enhance coverage of US debt markets.
- Creating differentiated content and data reports highlighting industry trends and shifts.
- Supporting marketing initiatives, webinars, and video content production.
- Engaging in customer outreach through visits and calls.
- Providing coverage for colleagues to ensure continuity and broader market coverage as needed.

Qualifications
- At least 5 years' relevant experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to produce high-quality, accurate analysis quickly.
- Deep contacts within the US bond market, including sell-side and buy-side industry players.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $130,000, based on experience.
