Water/Wastewater Designer
to help us stay at the cutting edge of industry advancements while providing efficient and effective design solutions for our clients. This position can be in our Corpus Christi or Harlingen, Texas offices. Position Overview
As a Water/Wastewater Designer, you will contribute to the design of water and wastewater infrastructure—from concept through permitting and construction administration. You’ll collaborate with licensed engineers to design systems such as water distribution, wastewater collection, and pump stations, with opportunities to work on diverse and challenging projects. Key Responsibilities
Design wastewater collection systems, sanitary lift stations, and treatment units (municipal/industrial). Design water distribution systems, booster pump stations, elevated storage tanks, and treatment units. Produce plans, specifications, and technical reports. Conduct hydraulic calculations, pump sizing, and modeling. Stay updated on industry innovations and apply the latest technologies to your designs. Manage permitting and support construction administration tasks. Skills & Qualifications
Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, WaterCAD, XPSWMM, and ArcGIS (preferred). Strong team player with the ability to work independently. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Desire to mentor junior staff and manage project tasks. Bachelor’s degree in civil or related engineering field. At least 2 years of relevant experience (3-4 years preferred). Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) required. Familiarity with Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) regulations is required. Additional Information
Willingness to travel and work overtime as project demands require. Valid driver’s license is a must. At
