Contemporary Art Teachers - Part-time

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for art teachers for kids in grades PreK-2. Weekend availability is needed for classes on Saturdays and Sundays as well as afternoons and evenings during the week.

During the week our classes typically start at 3:30pm so it is a great opportunity for public and private school art teachers and current art students in graduate programs to earn extra money doing what they love.

Our curriculum is created centrally so there is minimal prep required and all tools, equipment and supplies are provided. Most of our teachers work onsite at our school locations but we also have travel teacher opportunities for people who are willing to deliver our curriculum in after school programs in local schools and other art enrichment programs in the community.

Minimum Qualifications / Requirements

• 1+ years of experience teaching studio art to elementary school aged children
• BFA or BS Art Education
• Thoughtful communication skills
• A passion for One River School's mission
  
  

You will teach one or more of a variety of proprietary classes that include the following subjects:

Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Mixed media, Cartooning, Manga, …….and more.
