Role & Responsibilities:

IAG Analysts aligned with the Japan team analyze financial and market data of companies and work on assignments such as creating company profiles, industry-specific slides, company valuations, and executing debt and equity offerings and M&A transactions. Assignments involve detailed financial and market analyses, company and industry research, and financial statement analysis. Analysts are expected to work closely and in a coordinated manner with colleagues in Japan and other Nomura offices worldwide.

Key Skills:

  • Ability to work well in multicultural teams and perform efficiently under time constraints.
  • Proficiency in Japanese language (minimum JLPT Level N5).
  • Strong motivation, leadership, and responsibility for projects.
  • Business or Finance background; accounting coursework is advantageous.
  • Strong quantitative skills and high-quality, accurate work.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
