Head Trainer/ Studio Manager Job at F45 Training Alamitos Bay in Long Beach

F45 Training Alamitos Bay is hiring a Head Trainer / Studio Manager to lead our team, coach high-energy classes, drive membership growth, and deliver an exceptional member experience.

This is a full-time leadership role for someone who thrives in a high-energy group fitness setting and is ready to take ownership of studio operations, team development, and member retention.

Responsibilities

Coaching & Programming

• Coach ~20 F45 group classes per week with energy, motivation, and expert-level guidance
• Provide movement corrections, modifications, and hands-on coaching where appropriate
• Lead by example in the studio, embodying the F45 experience

Team Leadership

• Manage and mentor a team of part-time trainers
• Set coaching schedules, provide ongoing education and feedback
• Host regular team meetings and stay current with F45 programming updates

Sales & Member Engagement

• Conduct trial consultations and goal-setting check-ins
• Follow up with leads and support trial-to-member conversions
• Collaborate on client retention strategies and events

Studio Operations & Administration

• Manage staff scheduling, opening/closing procedures, and daily studio tasks
• Maintain studio cleanliness, safety, and equipment standards
• Organize and attend community events and member outings

Qualifications

• 3+ years of fitness coaching experience, with 1+ years in a leadership or management role
• Certified Personal Trainer (NASM, ACE, NSCA, ACSM, or equivalent)
• CPR/AED certification required
• Proven ability to drive sales and support client retention
• Excellent communication and team management skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
• Comfortable using fitness studio systems (MindBody or similar platforms preferred)
• Previous F45 or HIIT group training experience a plus

Compensation & Benefits
