Description
The Fashion Print Designer will focus on the juniors and missy apparel markets, creating versatile, on-trend looks for multiple clients each season. Key responsibilities include developing original artwork, managing print repeats, and maintaining a feminine aesthetic, particularly with statement florals. A strong ability to match colors precisely and follow managerial direction is essential, along with proactive engagement in seeking new projects.
Responsibilities
- Understand the commercial print market for juniors and/or missy apparel
- Create original art and putting prints into repeat, and cleaning prints
- Create on-trend looks for juniors and/or missy apparel across several accounts, in same season
- Versatile design hand with range of style
- Feminine hand – with ability to create statement florals
- Ability to match color precisely
- Proactively seek out opportunities and projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design
- 3+ years of practical CAD or Graphic Design experience in the apparel industry
- Prior Juniors' experience a plus
- Proficient in Adobe Suite; especially Photoshop and Illustrator
- In-depth knowledge of print repeats, print cleaning and creating prints
- Excellent sense of style and color and overall attention to detail
- Capable of taking and following direction from manager; can multi-task and prioritize
- Working independently, to complete tasks in quick turnaround time
- Strong organizational, time management, communication and presentation skills
- Positive attitude, with the ability to collaborate team player
- Ned Graphics a plus

Hybrid Work Schedule
4 days a week in the office, Friday work from home
New York Pay Rate $65,000.00 - $85,000.00
