Job Summary
The Photographer is responsible for ensuring every guest receives a memorable photo experience before entering the first scene of the haunt. This role requires strong guest service skills, basic camera operation proficiency, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Photographers are expected to communicate promptly with their Photograph Lead regarding any technical or guest-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Photo Experience:
- Greet each guest or group in a friendly and engaging manner as they approach the photo booth.
- Ensure every guest has their photo taken before they enter the first scene of the haunt, maintaining an efficient flow to minimize wait times.
- Camera Operation:
- Operate digital cameras and photo booth equipment with confidence, ensuring high-quality images.
- Troubleshoot minor technical issues and make basic adjustments to camera settings as needed.
- Photo Booth Management:
- Keep the photo booth area clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Monitor guest flow and coordinate with other staff to avoid bottlenecks.
- Issue Reporting:
- Immediately report any equipment malfunctions, guest concerns, or operational issues to the Photograph Lead for prompt resolution.
- Customer Service:
- Provide clear instructions to guests regarding poses, props, or photo process.
- Maintain a positive, professional attitude even during busy periods or when guests are impatient.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old to apply and work in this role.
- Experience with digital cameras or photo booth equipment preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality guest experiences
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during the haunt season
