This is a skilled administrative position responsible for managing residential LIHTC properties, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of LIHTC regulations, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional resident service. Work involves managing operations of the assigned tax credit community and ensuring compliance with HUD and LIHTC regulations, achieving financial and operational goals, maintaining high occupancy rates, property standards, and resident satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Property Operations: Oversee daily operations including leasing, rent collection, maintenance, and resident relations; develop policies to enhance efficiency.
• Compliance Management: Ensure LIHTC compliance, maintain accurate tenant and income documentation.
• Financial Management: Prepare and monitor budgets, financial reports, and rent collections.
• Resident Relations: Address concerns, resolve conflicts, and organize community events.
• Maintenance Oversight: Coordinate repairs, conduct inspections, ensure safety standards.
• Team Leadership: Supervise staff, promote teamwork and compliance understanding.
• Community Engagement: Build relationships with local organizations and stay informed on housing trends.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years property management experience, especially with LIHTC properties.
• Knowledge of LIHTC compliance requirements.
• Strong financial skills, experience with budgeting and reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in property management software and MS Office.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Property management certification (e.g., COS, CPM, CAM, HCCP) is a plus.
