Spring Arbor University is seeking adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate photography courses on campus in Spring Arbor, Michigan.

Position Overview: The university is looking for dynamic individuals to teach photography in the Department of Media and Visual Arts. Candidates should have proven professional photography experience, a diverse portfolio, and expertise in both traditional and digital photography techniques, including knowledge of cameras, lighting, Adobe editing software, and studio equipment. Familiarity with darkroom processes and various photographic genres like portraiture, landscape, commercial, sports, and fine art photography is essential. The ability to develop course syllabi, lesson plans, and experience with Learning Management Systems like Brightspace are preferred. Candidates should be passionate about integrating Christian faith into their teaching and supporting the university’s mission.

Qualifications: A Master’s degree in Photography, Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or related field is preferred. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of professional experience may also be considered.
