About the Health & Health-Tech PR Senior Account Manager role

My client is looking for a Senior PR Account Manager with exceptional earned media experience, to join their high performing health practice The ideal candidate will thrive in a creative and fast paced environment, as well as be passionate about building meaningful relations, with both clients and media alike.

As a key member of the team, you'll work alongside B2B healthcare companies that power the future of health systems, drug discovery, and more.

Key responsibilities:

• Reporting directly into the practice director, you will lead 6 - 7 key client accounts, ensuring impeccable client delivery and driving growth.
• Executing all aspects of strategic media relations; leveraging existing relationships with reporters and outlets on behalf of client and agency
• Oversee junior reports, providing mentorship, feedback and ensuring deadlines are met
• Play a key part in new business, creating decks/assets as well as attending new business pitches

This is a truly exciting opportunity to join one of New York's most exciting PR agencies, you will need to be adaptable and comfortable working in a fast paced environment. While this role sits in the healthcare practice, you will need an interest in health tech and be keen to work with clients at the forefront of medical innovation.

You will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as an entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to roll up your sleeves.

Essential Skills and Competencies

• 5 years experience in B2B health or technology communications
• Ability to excel in a client facing, high-performing, fast paced environment
• Established media relations in the health and/or technology space
• Willingness to commute to the office on a weekly basis
